In a span of four weeks, our Christmas family gathering was wiped out by a vicious flu bug that struck not once, but twice. It knocked out my entire family except for me. And a week later, it was mine turn, just in time to ruin the New Year’s holiday as well.
I barely recovered in time to head for a seven-day business trip to Canada, and I was greeted by the historic polar vortex storm that stranded me not once but twice in the Toronto’s Pearson Airport, going and coming. And if that was not enough, when I finally reached northern British Columbia, I slipped on the ice and landed on my head. Lying flat on your back wondering whether you broke your neck or whether you should move because a car might run you over is very enlightening.
If Satan is that unhappy with Streamside, then you know that this must be important. And despite all the travail, I was protected from serious harm and I am brimming with energy after missing a month of blogging!
Starting this week, I will begin a three part series with the same title as this blog. It is the weapons Jesus gave us in the wilderness I have used over the past month. And while I was injured physically, the enemy could not get close to me.
You have the same protection. Stop back and draw on this powerful resource given specially to you by the King.
Over the coming weeks, I will share insights from Streamside as examples of what is inside the book and the movement itself.
